2017 - 2018 Concert Season

Simply follow the instructions on this website. Please direct questions or problems to auditions@shoreintermediateband.com.

  1. Auditions are open to students in good standing of their school band at affiliated schools.
  2. The registration fee is $15.00 for one instrument, $20.00 for two or three instruments. Fees must be paid by check mailed to us (instructions are expained during the registration process).
  3. Auditions will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Eisenhower Middle School in Freehold, NJ. Information is available here on our web site calendar. Students will receive an audition time during the week before auditions. Auditions are typically held between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Please indicate any potential time conflicts on your registration form! Once they are assigned, audition times will be emailed to Band Directors.
  4. Your band director (or another acceptable music teacher) must sponsor you and attend the auditions in order for you to audition.
  5. Upon selection to the band, you must attend all scheduled rehearsals. Keep your schedule clear for possible make-up rehearsals. All of these dates are listed on the website calendar.
  6. Rehearsal locations vary. Students must provide their own transportation. In some cases students might need to leave school early in order to arrive at rehearsal on time.

  2. Print out the form and have it signed by a parent or guardian

  3. Mail the form along with a check to the Audition Chairperson. Instructions to follow.
